Stephan Brumberg, a colleague of mine from CUNY, was interviewed on a podcast for faq.nyc. The podcast contrasts early 20th century New York City schools with today’s including how policy makers dealt with major issues such as pandemics.
I found it a most illuminating and fun visit to the past.
