Dear Commons Community,

I was at SUNY Albany yesterday at the invitation of Peter Shea, the Associate Provost for Online Education.   I was on a panel with colleagues Chuck Dziuban and Patsy Moskal.  The title of our presentation was Blended Learning:  Research-Informed Practice to Improve Student Engagement, Satisfaction, and Learning.    Our presentation drew heavily from our recently published book, Conducting Research in Online and Blended Learning Environments:  New Pedagogical Frontiers.  The audience of mostly faculty seemed interested and enthusiastic.  It was a pleasure meeting with them.

Good luck to Peter and his colleagues as they pursue initiatives in blended learning.
