Dear Colleagues,

On August 21st, 2023, the administrators who take such good care of the CUNY Commons, decided to remove the counter that tabulated the number of visits to this and other blogs.  At that time, Tony’s Thoughts had a total count of 10,248,752 visitors. With the change to the counter facility, I am no longer able to provide the overall total number of visits.  However, as of April 1, 2025, this blog was averaging approximately 140,000 visits per month or 1,680,000 visitors per year.

This should give you a sense of the traffic that comes to Tony’s Thoughts.
