Dear Commons Community,

I was without power for a little more than two days after Isaias finished its work here in the New York City Metropolitan area.  More than two million households were left without electricity mostly due to downed trees that took out power lines and transformers.  I got my electricity and cable back yesterday afternoon but there were still more than a million households without power.  Here are some photos of the damage.
